China Improts of andalusite, kyanite and sillimanite in March

May 6, 2013 – There were about 3,100 tons of andalusite, kyanite and sillimanite imported by China in March, increasing 37.8% YoY and 121.4% MoM, with South Africa, the U.S. and India as the major origins, volumes totaling 1,500 tons (soaring up by 266.7% YoY), 840 tons (down by 18.6% YoY) and 700 tons (down by 19.1% YoY) respectively. South Africa continued to keep the first place in the import origins of these three minerals.
Meanwhile, exports of China andalusite, kyanite and sillimanite in March were 72 tons, eading up 2.5% YoY.
