High alumina refractory bricks are specialized refractory materials used in industries requiring extreme thermal, mechanical, and chemical stability. These bricks are essential in high-temperature processes like metallurgy, cement manufacturing, glass production, and incineration. Their superior resistance to thermal shock, slag attack, and mechanical stress makes them indispensable in demanding environments.
Laurel high alumina bricks are produced with selected bauxite chamotte using advanced processes and strict quality control. The main mineral components are corundum and mullite phases. It features excellent high-temperature mechanics and chemical corrosion resistance.
1. Resisting high temperature - High alumina bricks can withstand extreme temperatures, usually between 1400°C and 1800°C.
2. Good Chemical Resistance - They are Resistant to corrosion from slags, alkalis, and acids, making them ideal for harsh environments.
3. Excellent Slag Resistance - Suitable for applications in furnaces and kilns exposed to aggressive slags and fluxes.
4. High Strength and Hardness - Offers superior mechanical strength and resistance to wear and abrasion.
5. High Refractoriness Under Load (RUL) - Can maintain structural integrity under heavy loads at high temperatures.
